![]() ![]() Imagenomic’s Noiseware Professional is available for Mac OS and Windows as a plug-in or stand-alone product. Both use heuristic programming that continuously perfects processing so every time you process an image, Noiseware learns more about your camera or scanner. Noiseware is available for Mac OS and Windows as a plug-in or stand-alone product in both Standard ($49.95) and Professional ($69.95) versions with the biggest difference being 16-bit capability in the Pro version. The plug-in allows the detected noise levels to be adjusted by tonal and color range while it preserves image detail based on tonality range, all the while processing to guard against excessive changes. Noiseware’s self-learning mechanism automatically calibrates a noise profile and chooses the optimal noise removal settings without requiring camera-specific profiles. The interface is intuitive and you’ll get excellent results without having to read the Help file. Also, you can open the plug-in manually and continue work with the last used parameters.Imagenomic’s ( Noiseware removes high and low ISO noise and JPEG compression artifacts from digital files as well as grain from scanned film. This allows re-applying the plug-in (using the Ctrl+F shortcut in Photoshop, for example) with the same device noise profile without re-doing the stages II-III. The Neat Image plug-in will automatically save the device noise profile and filter preset used during the most recent processing as RecentProfile and RecentPreset. Do not consider it to be 'hanging' or 'freezing', just let it work. In Photoshop, updating Photoshop user interface during processing may be slow. During this time, the image editor will display the filtration progress. Processing may take a few minutes (depending on the speed of your computer's CPU and size of (the selected part of) the image). The plug-in window will be closed and filtration will start.
